How to create and access your profile
When rezzing a new DHD you’ll be prompt first to use the Legacy (offline) favorite manager or the new Online version.
The legacy offline mode remains the same as before, your data remains local and is accessible by the other users of your DHD.

When choosing the Online version the service will check if you already have a profile and addresses, otherwise it will create one for you and add the default addresses.
Accessing your profile is very easy, click the menu option “MyFavorites” you’ll see a new button called “[MANAGE]” or you can also go to the Settings -> Manage List -> Favs Mgr
This will create a session token and provide a link to open the website.

How to manage your addresses on the web
Once you have your profile opened, you’ll have a couple of options:
- Creating or deleting entries
- Re-ordering
- Renaming
- Tagging
- Making your entries public or private (private is the default)

To create a new entry, start writing in the second textbox at the top then press enter or click the green + icon. This will create an entry without any tags.

To delete an entry, simply move your cursor on the right of the entry and click the trashbin icon.

To re-order your entries, which will affect the order you see in-world in the favorites menu, just drag and drop your entries to the position you want by holding click on the entry you wish to move.

To rename or add a tag, click the edit button. You’ll be able to change the address text but also add new tags.

Finally to share publicly an entry, hover your mouse on it and click the lock icon, it will turn into a green globe icon showing it is now public.
Meaning that the other users using your DHD will now see a “Favorites” option next to their “MyFavorites” that will provide your public favorite addresses.

All changes are saved automatically. DHDs are synchronizing your profile everytime you interract with the favorite menu but to avoid server abuses, if you click it twice in a row we use a temporary stored data that expires after 60 seconds.
Tags
Tags a fully optional, they are here only to help you search in your list while being in your profile.
This might change in the future, like being able to make specific tags public, or filter in-world based on the tags.
Data Safety
The entries in the database are not encrypted as they are not ‘sensible’ data like a passwords would be. Their access are limited to you with your token session that lasts 15 minutes and to the different scripted tools made by Vk Labs.
